puppy pad (wee wee pad) training, feeding, and names?

I'm getting a 15 week old snorkie (schnauzer, yorkie mix) this week and i read once that for puppy pad training, to put the puppy pads all over the floor in the room where it will be staying and then gradually take them off if you see that it's using the backroom in one place.
is that a good way to do it? or are there any other ways?

I know most people don't suggest wee wee pad training puppies but I've already decided to wee wee pad train my dog until hes a little older.
Should i keep the food down to let it free feed since it's still kind of young or should I start feeding him on a schedule right away?

My last question what should i name him?

That dog should be potty-trained by now. I have a pit-bull and he's about 12 weeks. He's pretty much potty-trained. (He had an accident the other night when he came in the bathroom while the shower was on. I think it scared him.) But he runs to the door when he needs to go and he understands, "outside."

So, after you get him trained on the pads, then you'll have to re-train him to go outside. Why waste all that time?

You should just take him outside and let him go out there. You are just delaying the whole thing and your house is going to smell.
