How do I get my dog to eat his dry dog food?
He will not eat his dry puppy chow dog food unless there is wet food in it. He is really thin because he won't eat. We tryed Science Diet too and he ate that but it' expensive should we go with the scince diet since he eats it?
You will need to feed him on a schedule twice a day. Offer him his food in the morning. Whatever he doesn't eat, remove after 20 minutes. Don't offer him anything else until his dinner feeding. Do the same thing at dinner, removing it after 20 minutes. Eventually he will get hungry and catch on that he must eat when it is offered.
Both of the foods you mentioned are not any good. Grocery store dog foods are full of corn, by-products, rendered meats, artificial flavors, sugar, and carcinogens.
I reccomend Blue Buffalo, what I feed, which you can find at PetSmart stores. There are also other dog foods out there of even higher quality, such as Innova, Evo, Timberwolf, Orjein, and Solid Gold. Here are some websites that will help you choose a better dog food:

On a healthy dog food, you will feed much less than on a low-quality food, making the bag last longer. In the end the price evens out.
