How to stop a pup from pulling back on leash and going putside in the rain?

I have a 9week old pit bull pup i have been training her to walk on her harness and leash in the backyard until she has had all of her puppy innoculations she does very well unless it is raining or if everything is still wet from the rain she will pull back so she doesnt have to go out but it results in me dragging her around the yard as she wont walk and she doesnt go toilet either due to it so when we get back in the house she gets put in her cage as im not having her peeing on my floors

Simply put, make her get used to the rain. Keep her out in it til she'll go. When you give her a shower,consistantly give her treats. But special treats, like canned chicken or fish or liver.

A good method for this is to get into clicker training. to begin this, wait until she's hungry(like right before feeding time) and click and give her a treat. repeat as many times as it takes to get her expecting a treat when you click. Then start clicking any time she's done something good, so she associates the click with praise. Finally, click near constantly and treat often in the rain and the shower.

And a harness will not teach a dog to pull. However, harnesses offer almost no control over a dog. And they do, admitedly, make it easier to pull. And pit bulls are a pulling breed. they even hold compettitions.

what can i use to get him to behave on walks?

I have a miniature schnauzer and his horrible on walks he pulls and then it gets worse when he sees another dog i dont know what to do i have a gentle leader(i dont want people thinking his agressive so i stopped using it) and harness nylon adjustable slip collar his submissive in the house and listens to me but wants he outside he pulls and goes in front of me i pull him back and try to keep him at my side i need a collar that will stay up the highest part of his neck but the one i have falls down can you recommend a collar that will stay at the highest part of the neck And i know he needs exercise i run him and take him on trails i also play fetch with him i just need something to keep him under control before i do that because i want to enjoy walking him and any advice would be welcome i
i take him for walks every day or else he would go bathroom in the house that's common sense and i do exercise him

I've taken an obedience class for dogs. As soon as he starts out, even just to get ahead of you, you have to pull him back, take your free hand and pin him down at the neck and hold him there for a few seconds. This is establishing dominance. Let him back up and pat him to show you still love him and try again. You have to repeat this process until he realizes that YOU are the leader and he must listen to you.

Choosing the best collar for your dog doesn't have to be a chore. Different collars are not only for training but, the size and activities of your dog. For example, if you live near water and your dog loves to swim, then I would recommend getting a nylon washable buckle collar.

Buckle Collars: The top choice for most dog owners as they are less likely to come undone and come in a nylon or leather type material. The buckle type is recommended for puppies.

Nylon Collars: Mostly for the active dog. Swimming and getting dirty is what dogs do right? Nylon is strong, machine washable and comes in many different colors, usually with a matching leash. This collar is ideal for smaller dogs and puppies.

Leather Collars: More durable than most materials used to make dog collars. Machine washable and the leather will soften with the dogs natural oils in there skin.

Training Collars: Yep, just like it says. The training collars usually come in a choking type mechanism that tightens and loosens as you correct his actions while training or when you're out in public. It is not recommended to use this type of collar for everyday use as the dog might become hung somewhere and choke himself.

Harnesses: Harnesses' strap around the dog's chest and rib cage for a more secure and controlling ability. Mainly for large dogs that like to pull when being walked. If for some reason your dog has neck trouble or a large neck and small head where he keeps slipping out of his collar, the harness is a great solution.

Head Collars: Head collars are also a good choice for dogs that pull while being walked as this allows you to correct them using pressure on the snout and back of the neck. This type duplicates the same affect as a mother dog on her puppies and highly recommended when training your dog.

So, with these guidelines, you should be able to pick out the perfect collar for your dog or new puppy. How to choose the best collar for your dog will help in training and control of your dog.

how do you take off the deck harness for a 2000 dodge neon?

Im trying to get at the deck wires to hook up an amp, but how do i take off the harness? just pull it off?

If your talking about the radio deck clip on each plug or if you have single plug. If rear deck speckers they have wedge clips i belive,its been a long time since ive seen one/
