I'd be willing to be that with a name like "Alpha Dog" that thing it probably factory overclocked (made to run faster than a stock version without violating the warranty, because the factory did it)

Physx has been standard on all GeForce cards since (I believe) the 8000 series, seeing as NVidia bought them out.

Cuda is included in all of the current NVidia drivers, capable on being run on anything 8000 series or newer.

There are many reasons why people like to show their dogs and it is a rewarding practice for individuals and kennels alike. You might like to enter your dog for obedience trials because he enjoys it and you are proud of him; you might like the competition element of shows or it may be that you just like to be around fellow dog owners, comparing your dogs. There are two main categories of shows: a) Pedigree dog shows requiring you to demonstrate that your dog matches the breed standards set by the kennel club in which your dog is registered and b) All dog trial and events, irrespective of breed, registration or heritage where your dog will be judged solely on his ability to perform the activity for which he is entered.

If you are considering showing your pedigree dog for the first time, it might be worth employing the services of a professional dog handler. You will be able to draw on the experience and benefit from the opinion of the dog handler, who will very quickly evaluate your dog's most positive skills. If you decide to that this the route you wish to follow, ensure that the dog handler spends time working with your dog well before the show.

Your pedigree dog will be in competition with others of his breed or judged by the standards appertaining to their national or international kennel clubs. Countries such as the USA, Canada, the UK and Australia have kennel clubs which organize events locally, nationally and internationally. Only pedigrees can be registered in these clubs and participate in the shows. No crossbreeds are allowed. Kennel clubs outside of the USA place various breeds in different categories but none of them will recognize crossbreeds or dogs that do not have proper registration papers.

Make sure that you know the standards set for your breed by the kennel club where your dog is registered. Read as much as you can about their standards because if you get it wrong, you may be disqualified from entering or participating in the show.

Visit as many shows and events as you can and observe the adjudicators or judges. Note down anything the judges say about competitors at the time they have made their selections of winners. If you know what the judges like you can take special care to train your dog so that he will please the judges. Naturally judges are bound to make their decision based on the standards that have been set by a kennel club, but each judge will place their own interpretation on those standards.

One day before the show, put a lot of effort into the bathing and grooming of your dog, clipping is nails and cleaning his teeth where necessary. This is not something you should leave until the last moment.

On the day of the show, relax with your dog, walk around the show area and make sure he relieves himself. Where possible you should try to take him to areas where there are spectators gathering and around the ring so that he can become accustomed to these new surroundings. If he is made comfortable in the environment he will perform better in the ring.

Throughout history people have always loved dogs. They have been our faithful companions, friends and protectors. In more recent years our dogs have become more than pets and are now, at times, almost accessories.

For example our dogs now have outfits! Including, but in no way limited to, jumpers, dresses, hats and even shoes. They are dressed in the finest apparel, given the prettiest collars smothered with diamantes and are even carried in handbags.

This started as a celebrity trend, with the super rich showering their pampered pooches with gifts and designer labels but like most celebrity trends it has now trickled down to the high street. We love our dogs like they are members of the family and not only care for them but in many cases baby them. This obviously makes sense as it seems it is extremely common to purchase a dog as a baby replacement, I have to admit I have done this myself.

I also have to admit that my dog is no exception. She has a reindeer suit which she wears at Christmas, a teddy bear suit which she wore for my son's birthday party and even a pumpkin suit for Halloween. When we go for our family portrait photo every year she always comes along too, she is after all a member of our family.

That's the reason we just can't take any chances when it comes to her safety. She has her very cute pink and diamante collar but I always ensure she has a safety Id tag hanging from it, luckily I make them myself so I can make sure they are just as pretty as she is. Her tag has her photo engraved on the front and all her relevant details on the back.

It is horrible and almost impossible to comprehend but 2500 dogs go missing every week in the UK and a staggering 38% of missing dogs are actually stolen, even 35% of missing cross breed dogs are reported stolen so this terrible theft does not only apply to pedigree dogs. It is vital that as dog owners we protect our pets in every possible way. To most of us our dogs become more than a pet, they really are part of the family, they are included in every part of our lives and that can sometimes put them at risk.

Always ensure your dog is wearing an ID tag, never leave them unattended in public areas, check that they can't escape through holes in fences and hedges and be aware that there is a very real risk of theft.

Am I being an unreasonable wife?? I need your opinions, please.?

I am 29 years old, I have 5 children ranging from 6 months to 8 years. I stay home with them every day. My husband works to support our family. I take care of all the household chores, with the exception of asking hubby to occasionally change a diaper, fill the dog water bowl or take out the kitchen trash. However we now have had a huge disagreement that is threatening to our marriage. I feel he should mow the lawn, where as he thinks I should add it to my chores, at least part of the time. I tried to explain that breastfeeding the baby, and caring for my other responsibilites makes that impossible for me, but he won't listen. Am I wrong to simply expect him to do this? I have also suggested that we hire someone. He won't have that either.What now??

I dont think thats unreasonable. Alot of people think stay at home mom = watch tv all day, when in reality you have a lot of cleaning to do, not to mention, taking care of 5 children. I think he's being unreasonable if he freaks out because you ask him to do ONE thing. If you went out and got a 9-5 job then your job would end at the end of your work day, much like your husbands...but since youre a stay at home mom, your job never ends.

I know a lot of stay at home moms who work way harder than their husbands, and their husbands act like they bust their butts and their wives do nothing, therefore anything that needs to be done around the house, is left up to their wives to do. Hopefully that isnt the kind of husband you have, but if it is then I'd just let the lawn go if I were you. It'd take him MAYBE 2 hours, not even once a week, to chip in and help. That isnt asking too much, at all.

Would I be able to sue Pedigree? If my dog was to even eat this it would've probably killed him. Who know what contamination is under the claw?

Like others have said, low quality dog food is made with low quality products. i doubt you have any issue on your hands. You can write them and let them know and will probably get an apology with a coupon for a discounted price on your next bag, but not much else can happen.

I could be wrong tho, see what they say.

Always insect your dogs food when it is opened and as you serve it. you can open a brand new bag and if it smells or looks "wrong" dont serve it and contact the company.

Regardless of food quality, most companies will compensate for the mistake and replace the product or offer coupons.

Try looking into a food that is by product free, among other ingredients. They may( will) be more expensive, but sometimes you get what you pat for. Human grade dog food is best if looking for a kibble.

Which dog food would be best?

I have 2 male maltetzu's. They are only a year and half. They have been on pedigree dog food since they were 8 weeks old. I want to change their food to something a little better. One of my dogs is pink on his belly, back and feet due to constant licking. I need a good dog food that I can get at either walmart or petsmart since those are the only stores here that sells pet food.

Poor little guys. They left mom about 4-6 weeks too soon and were fed bad food.

Anyway, I'm glad you want to make a change for the better for your little mutts.

Petsmart carries Blue Buffalo and AvoDerm. Both are excellent quality foods. Those are about the only foods at PetSmart I'd trust.

If your town is big enough for those two stores, are you sure there aren't any small pet supply shops? Locally owned shops that don't sell animals. They usually have a much larger range of good foods.
