I've got a labrador and a little mutt
from Russia
looks a bit like my father
bruiser,boozer,snoozer
he snarls and winces
toothless he pinches
snitches,dahlias,dances
dashes
purple headed finches
from stores in
Italy"s little pet district
imagine your self
on a seabed
waves lapping away
at a good fellow
who goes all yellow
when the guns ablaze
from cocaine dealers
high on the seas
keeler,pirates & stealers
excuse me while i laugh
this mutt is tough
he just took a bite out
of the one gloved

pirates hand dressed in drag
somedays are diamonds
and some days are stones
especially if your the one
who has been bitten to the bone ?
go and forget the pain
go and eat another ice cream ?
sail up midstream
on a pipe dream
at least you"ll feel
your not on the mean streets ?
I've had about 6 poems published so far and in my personal opinion...
You're off to a decent start, but it kind of bounces around and is not really clear on the point. There were some parts of it that were awesome. Maybe fine tune it a little. But kudos to you!
