Frontline Plus has stopped working as flea prevention on my dogs. Vet says others have the same problem. HELP?
After having good success with Frontline Plus for the past three years as flea treatment and prevention on our dogs, the treatment has stopped working. The vet says the treatment solution must have been changed because others are having the same problem.
I treat the house and yard, but the dogs are still suffering. Does anyone have any success with any other products?
We have started having the same problems where I am from. I am a groomer and alot of my dogs that I do are on Frontline and still have fleas. There is a new pill out Called Comfortis and it is just like the Capstar pill they sell that kills fleas in 30 min but only lasts for one day but this pill last a month. I have had so many people with fleas on their dogs use this and it has helped so much more then frontline. some of our vets have not started selling it yet because it is so new and they still have to attend the conferences on Comfortis but i know 1800Petmeds.com sells it! Try it out and see if anything is better.
Oh the only negative thing I have heard is it gave 1 out of probably 30 dogs that i do that takes this a tummy ache for a day.
