How to get rid of that bluish tint from dogs eyes on photoshop?
I'm trying to get the bluish tint out of a dogs eyes in a picture. I'm using photoshop. I've done everything I can think of...but everything just ends up making the eyes look weird. What can I do?
You are likely going to be using one or more of three tools.
1. Burn Tool (a hand) - it darkens the the area
2. Dodge Tool (a lolipop?) - it lightens the area
3. Sponge Tool (sponge) - it saturates/desaturates the area
If the blue would be less visible once darkened, use burn tool. If it should be lighter, use the dodge tool. And if it's just the color, use the sponge tool.
From what I'm assuming you should probably desaturate the blue using the sponge tool first before darkening or lightening it.
All 3 tools are in the same box, and you rightclick to get the other 2 tools to show up.
One thing I always hated to see on poodles were that dark brown stain running down both eyes. (With lack of a better term is simply called tear stains.) And now as fate would have it, I have a poodle with the same issue. Although it doesn't seem to be as bad as some I have seen, it still bothers me to see it on my little girl. And it also seems to be an irratation for my poodle, seeing that an ongoing scab seems to form under one eye because of this.
There always seems to be an excessive amount of tears draining down my little dog's face, mainly one eye. This ongoing moistness seems to casue some skin irritation, a possible infection and a bad odor.
After researching this condition I found that tear stained eyes can be caused from a number of things including teething, clogged tear ducts, and just genetics due to the facial bone structure of this breed.
The solution that I find working the best for me is keeping my dog's eye area clean. I check my dog's eyes regularly for dust, stray hairs, any foreign matter in or around my dog's eyes. Anything that could possibly cause irritation, and then lead to more tearing. Bathing my poodle every week also removes debris and dust from her fur, that could fall into her eyes.
You may want to check on some of the tear stain remover available online, and with your local vet. But I found little success with that for my poodle. First of all, try and tell your dog not to blink as the drop is ready to drown their eye...not easy! And you may get it in there the first couple times, but they will learn fast when you show up with that bottle twice a day! And after I read some of the side effects I could be exposing my dog to, I threw the bottle away.
A damp wash cloth to my dogs eye area every morning seems to be as good a solution as any. Learn More.
